Sneaking back in to add a comment - it’s unconscionable what Hammond did with running no air cleaner. No windsor block ought to be worse than a Porsche 8 in a sane world - t hat poor Mach 1.

I have mixed feelings about this episode. I remember hating it the first time I saw it. Why did they fuck around with those awesome cars and do such horrible things to them? It just seemed so... unreasonable. However, on later re-watches I like it more. Despite the pointless fuckery, it seemed slightly more honest somehow. I dunno.

Oh wait... what are we talking about?  Mornings?  Yes, it is a Monday and I am at work.  Going to call the shop in a few and see if they’ll give me a price to replace the starter on the Saab.

all good here... having my weekend.. went for a pokewalk with the missus and got a pint and a sandwich

only downside is i gotta go to me daughters college in a bit and sit through her next college aplication propaganda tour... (she’s a pain in the arse so obviously she’s decided on art college..... there go my hopes for her getting filthy stinking rich so i can retire early:p)

They didn’t do anything out of the ordinary regular people wouldn’t or haven’t already done. Outside of Part 1, everything was normal. The butthurt civi lians did more damage than the three did collectively. Part 1 was the best of the two. I never could and haven’t watched the second part.
